Roger Federer's watches
Roger Federer is documented wearing 5 watch lines: Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, Rolex Datejust, Rolex Sky-Dweller, Rolex Air-King…. Each watch below links to its strap size and story.
Federer won his eighth Wimbledon title in 2017 wearing a Datejust 41 ref. 126303, and has called the Datejust his favourite Rolex line; a Datejust 36 was the first Rolex seen on his wrist, at the 2006 US Open.
Federer says the Sky-Dweller Rolex gave him after his 2017 Australian Open win, engraved with a butterfly, is the watch that holds the most sentimental value to him. British GQ also spotted him in a 326934 at the 2017 Miami Open, and in 2023 he wore a new Sky-Dweller in the Royal Box at Wimbledon.
Wore the new steel Air-King 126900 on the bench at the Laver Cup in London in September 2022, the doubles match with Rafael Nadal that ended his career.
The tennis champion wore the unreleased Land-Dweller in Instagram photos from a ski trip posted on 30 March 2025, a day before Watches and Wonders 2025 began, which press read as the watch's first public appearance. In July 2025 he wore the Oystersteel and white gold version in Wimbledon's Royal Box.
Became a Rolex Testimonee in 2001.
Signed in Zurich in June 2004 as official ambassador, with a contract starting 1 June 2004.
